Here is a step-by-step guide that will help you to craft your own serum and unlock the secrets of this cactus elixir.

Step 1: Harvesting Prickly Pear Cactus Pads:

  • Choose 2-3 mature and healthy Prickly Pear Cactus pads. Use gloves to avoid the tiny spines.

  • Cut the pads into small pieces, totaling approximately 1 cup, using a sharp knife, ensuring a clean and smooth cut.

Step 2: Removing Spines and Peeling:

  • Carefully remove the spines from the cactus pads using a knife or tweezers.

  • Peel the outer layer to reveal the succulent inner flesh.

Step 3: Extracting Prickly Pear Juice:

  • Cut the peeled cactus pads into smaller pieces.

  • Use a blender or juicer to extract the juice from the pads.
