Moringa Flower Tacos



Ingredients:

  • Moringa flowers (removed from the stem)

  • Olive oil

  • Onion, finely chopped

  • Garlic, minced

  • Cumin

  • Chili powder

  • Salt and pepper

  • Taco shells or tortillas

  • Toppings: diced tomatoes, avocado slices, cilantro, lime wedges, etc.

Instructions:

  1. Preparing Moringa Flowers:

  • Remove the moringa flowers from the stem, discarding any tough parts.

  • Rinse the flowers thoroughly.

  1. Sautéing Moringa Flowers:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until softened.

  1. Cooking Moringa Flowers:

  • Add the moringa flowers to the skillet.

  • Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste.

  • Sauté until the moringa flowers are tender but still vibrant in color.

  1. Warming Taco Shells:

  • Warm the taco shells or tortillas.

  1. Assembling Tacos:

  • Fill each taco shell with the sautéed moringa flowers.

  1. Toppings and Serving:

  • Top with diced tomatoes, avocado slices, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.

  1. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve the moringa flower tacos immediately while warm.
